CLINICAL ENGINEERING BENCHMARKING

NESCE Invites You to Attend Our First Meeting of 2010

On Thursday, January 28, 2010,  Frank Painter will present on the subject of clinical engineering benchmarking and will review the specific features and functions of AAMI's Benchmarking Solution.  This is AAMI's new online tool that is designed to help clinical engineering departments measure their practices, policies, and procedures against similar departments at other facilities, monitor their progress throughout the year, and share best practices.

Frank will provide details on the workings of AAMI's benchmarking resource and will demonstrate the beneficial data that can be obtained from this tool.  He will highlight the benefits it can provide to your clinical engineering department.  He will provide a quick demonstration of the online system and answer any questions.

Meeting & RSVP Information

NESCE is generously sponsoring most of the cost for this dinner meeting. The cost to NESCE members will be only $10 ($5 for students).  Payment will be taken at the door. When you arrive at the restaurant, you will be asked for your dinner selection (choice of 7 dinner items from their German Banquet Menu, which includes soup, an appetizer, entree and dessert). There will be cheese/crackers/fruit and a cash bar (please remember to tip your bar server). The restaurant requires a meal count, so you must RSVP by Tuesday 1/26/10 by selecting "Yes" in the "Your Response" box located on this Invite.

(Important: All RSVPs are paid for whether or not you show up, so if you RSVP "Yes" but then cannot attend, we completely understand.  But, you must change your RSVP to "No" by 1/26/10 so we can delete your dinner from the count, or we will pay for it.)

We Look Forward To

Seeing You In January!!

Sincerely,
