Cleveland Clinic seeks an experienced Clinical Engineer to fill the position of Section Head, who will manage all aspects of the anesthesiology group and operating room staff, including supporting the operation of equipment, instruments and supplies.

·  Responsibilities include maintaining the daily functions of the operating rooms, PACU and ICU’s.

·  Will provide technical engineering support to clinical research as sponsored by the medical staff.

·  Develop and implement a wide range of programs including but not limited to safety programs, calibration, equipment servicing, inventory control, and equipment purchasing.

·  Master’s Degree in Clinical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

·  Minimum five years' progressive experience in an operating-room setting, including supervisory and administrative management responsibilities of technical and non-technical personnel.

·  Strong analytical and problem-solving experience, in order to evaluate, purchase, install, perform preventative maintenance and prioritize service for medical equipment.
